My name is Lara Chelak and I run my own company. I am also defined by other things including my love for Ukrainian folk dance and my life as a student in New York City. These are my thoughts, dreams, and distractions.

April Foolishness

It was an astonishing 68 degrees outsides today in the lovely city of New York. I’ve noticed that college students within this city will take the very first chance they get to wear absolutely nothing. Even if it means that when it drops to 40 degrees that night they’re still wearing just flip flops, shorts, and a t-shirt.

I can feel my summer skin already.  

In other news I managed to play a rather mean April fools joke on my sister by texting her that our mom had called and told me that our cat was run over by a car. Overcome with guilt I quickly appeneded “April fools!” to the message. Her reply was “Lara you shouldve waited til I responded before you said April fools you dummy.” Kindess got the best of me.
